Legends states that there was a European explorer making his way through the African country-side. He saw a man carrying items to fix his roof and asked, "what's the name of the nearest city?" In that exchange, the local man was terrified of the on-coming exploring thinking that he was asking him to justify why he was there.
In a hurried and rushed explanation, he exclaimed,"min-chan m'bidjan!" Translated as, "I've just been cutting leaves!" The man left in a hurry to escape any trouble. Then the explorer, thinking that he was being extremely honoring to the culture he was invited to, wrote down the name to be "Abidjan." Most of this tour will be centered around Abidjan as the base command. From this center of society, the tour will search out some of the treasures of this country's hospitality, the natural gifts located just steps from your hotels, and the flavorful delicacies afforded to this beautiful country. |

Domaine Bini
Domaine Bini Lagune is a new eco-tourism site nestled between Abidjan and Bingerville. A little corner of paradise, with airs from the end of the world, both its beauty and its serenity contrast with the tumult of the city.
Two domains of Bini or nothing... Hidden in the charming village of Kafakoi, Bini Lagune is the little brother of the famous Domain of the same name located on the highway of Yamoussoukro. A new creation of one of the pioneers of eco-tourism in the Ivory Coast, one finds there all that makes the success of the first domain: an atmosphere-friendly atmosphere, enchanting nature, delicious cuisine, and activities for the whole family. On the other hand, there is no clay bath here but the pristine Aghien lagoon, incredibly clean, in which you can swim without fear. A green day in the heart of Abidjan Descending to the site (from the car park) via a steep path, take the time to look up and contemplate this breathtaking landscape: everywhere around you, lush vegetation, light magnificent, pure air and an almost disturbing silence!
