Continue your fun in the sun on this optional day trip to Tucson, Arizona. Leaving the hotel at 7:30am, we will begin our journey to discover this southwestern gem. Known for its connection with the University of Arizona, a trip to Tucson would be incomplete without visiting one of their museums/research facilities. On this trip, we will have the chance to explore the Biosphere 2, explore downtown Tucson, try out some of the local cuisine and discover why it has gained the first American city referred to an a UNESCO City of Gastronomy, and ending the day discovering some of the regions desert parks that make the city famous including the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum.

Biosphere 2Biosphere 2 is named on the idea that Earth is Biosphere 1. At the 3.14 acre research facility and 40 acre campus, the Biosphere contains 5 different "Biomes:" Ocean, Mangrove wetlands, Tropical Rainforest, Savanna Grassland, and Fog Desert.

Arizona-Sonora Desert MuseumNestled within the lushest desert on Earth, explore the Sonoran Desert region along a two-mile walking trail featuring the chance to be touched by stingrays, wolves, roadrunners, javelinas, arachnids, and more than 230 additional native species. Iconic saguaros, cactus gardens, live animal presentations, walk-through hummingbird aviary, cave, aquarium, and art gallery make the visit unforgettable.
